Membership
The Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders’ membership is defined by RSA 171- A:32. Council members represent a broad cross-section of the agencies, organizations and professionals that support individuals with ASD, along with family members and a self-advocates.

The NH Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders has committed and active memberships to provide leadership in promoting comprehensive and quality education, health care, and services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families.

Membership Vacancies
The Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders is actively seeking to fill unoccupied membership seats. The following seats are vacant:
(a)The governor, or designee
(i) The president of the New Hampshire Medical Society, or designee
​(l)A family member of a person who has an Autism spectrum disorder, appointed by the governor
(p)Up to 5 additional members, nominated by the council and appointed by the governor

To apply for membership, we ask that you:
​
1. Fill out our Membership Application: Membership applications can be found by clicking here
​
2. Meet with our Member Relations Committee: Once your application is received, we will contact you with an invitation to our next Member Relations Committee meeting. We ask that you attend to go over member expectations and Council functions.
​
3. Attend a Full Council Meeting: After attending a Member Relations Committee meeting, we ask that you attend a full Council meeting the following month. This allows applicants the chance to experience a Council meeting and familiarize themselves with our fellow Council members.
​
After completing all three steps of the application process, Council members will vote on member acceptance. Council leadership will contact applicants with the results.
